A lonely wheelchair sits in a beam of light on the boarded up lower floor ward of the Buffalo State Hospital (now the HH Richardson Complex). I had the pleasure of exploring most of this amazing building three times over the past few years, and am happy it’s being restored, even if it means no more visits.
